Potters House take to the streets to shout about the blood…

In the last few months as a church, Potter’s House Christian Centre Walthamstow have really come leap and bounds and we truly believe that through it all (good and bad) God is really taking us into a great destiny through our experiences and His promises.

After a powerful Revival with Pastor Peter Ajala from the Potter’s House Rotherhithe Church earlier this month we had the perfect setting for the Easter Season, and on the 30th March 2013 we had our annual Easter Parade…and what a powerful time it was!

As a church we came together unashamedly to march, sing and pronounce the death of Jesus Christ for the atonement of ALL our sins [Isaiah 1:18 says ‘though your sins be like scarlet, they shall be as white as snow’ ] and to celebrate and remember the true meaning of Easter – His resurrection!

There was great response to the message as people gathered to hear the message of Jesus Christ and a number of people were witnessed to in preparation for Easter Sunday Celebration.

Easter Sunday can only be described as Spirit Filled and Anointed, with service right in the Walthamstow Town Centre how could it not be!

We had the service in the ‘arcade site’ at Walthamstow Market where we saw great number of visitors come out to be part of this special day.

The service started off with a mini concert by our new (and if I can say ‘vocally outstanding’) music group ONE ACHORD lead by the ever talented Nathan Palmer, who completely brought the house down!

The music was powerful and we can testify that souls were touched.

This was followed by no-holds-bar preaching from our Pastor Nigel Brown who spoke so powerfully and assertively on the evidence of Jesus’ resurrection and what it truly means for you and I.

In the end people’s lives were so transformed by the power of the Lord that was present that the ‘sound’ of new born babes in Christ was heard! Eight people gave their lives to Christ…and to God be all the glory! [Luke 15:7 "In the same way, there is more joy in heaven over one lost sinner who repents and returns to God than over ninety-nine others who are righteous and haven't strayed away!"]

With this momentum, we as a church and ambassadors of Christ look forward to being continuously used by God for the Great Commission to see souls saved, changed and lives transformed through Jesus Christ. We are grateful to God for His protection, favour and power to save demonstrated over this great Easter weekend. We hope you had a blessed Easter too!

Victorious Joy & Thanksgiving Belongs to Jesus Christ

At Potter’s House Christian Fellowship we love nothing more than a session of refreshing and revival from God.

And this week as we head into a series of events to include exciting concerts and revivals, we kick start everything this Saturday (21st April) with what we believe will be an explosive Victory Rally.

This is what we call ‘a mini conference’ where we have a series of 3 seminars in the morning; where our churches from all across the UK will come together to hear from guest preachers from the fellowship.

In this Victory Rally we have some very exciting preachers which we believe God will use as powerful vessels to speak into our lives:

10am – Pastor Clement Okusi, senior pastor at our Croydon Fellowship church who brings his bold personality, timely messages and charismatic approach to preach and inspire us to move forward in Christ.

10.45am – Pastor Peter Ajala, leads our second largest church in the UK – Potter’s House Rotherhithe, South London. He brings a lot of passion and directness to his preaching which is sure to stir and challenge you.

11am – We complete the morning with our visiting preacher, Pastor Torey Williams, from America who is sure to round off the meetings with a rhema word.

So we encourage you to join us this Saturday at 9am (for prayer) at the Potter’s House Christian Centre Walthamstow; bring friends and new believers, so together we can experience what God has in store for his people!

Our church, based in east London, was birthed when a missionary couple came to London in the mid ’80s from our mother church in Perth (Australia), with a vision to see the lost come to the knowledge of Christ.

Our aim is to provide a warm, friendly and caring atmosphere so mothers can leave their children relaxed that they are being looked after in the best way. We have three rooms.  These are divided into Babies (0 – walking) Tiny Tots (walking – 2 years old) and Toddlers (2   – 3 years olds).

So it has finally happened, what Potter’s House Walthamstow have been speculating for years has finally happened…WE HAVE MOVED INTO OUR NEW BUILDING!!!

And what a glorious and miraculous move it was!

Less than a month ago Pastor Brown announced that we finally had a move in date for the new building…and it was 28th August 2013.
As you can imagine we were all shocked at the short notice but then excitement set in and it was go from there.

Many men rallied together to turn a bingo hall into a church and the ladies followed suite to clean up and put on the finishing touches ready for our first service on Wednesday.

When that day rolled up it was almost surreal to the see the space looking beautiful and fully set for the service.

With over 700 seats setup and ready, the evening was electric. Nathan and the praise and worship team did a fantastic job setting the stage for Pastor Harold Warner to preach a powerful sermon on the Blood of Jesus Christ (and we know that we need that blood to sanctify this new chapter of our lives).

It was a great evening and we look forward to all God will do with us in this new chapter of this fellowship.

Halloween Drama featuring live music

Our Halloween Drama featuring live music took place on two incredible nights – 31st October and 1st November. We were privileged to see a great crowd of people in our new church area Leyton turn up to watch the presentation.

The drama team did a great job of communicating the reality of hell to the audience that wasn’t the typical portrait that is gory and grotesque but simply presenting the sobering reality of the despair, loneliness, mental and emotional torment and the awful sense of hopelessness. With the mix of powerful story lines and singing that sent shivers down your spine it provided a great reminder of the awfulness of hell and why no one should want to end up there.

In total after the two days, we saw over 45 people answer the Altar Call and accept Jesus to be their Lord and saviour. It is simply amazing to see how God uses drama presentations to draw a crowd and bring people to a point of decision concerning eternity. We just completed a very powerful conference with Pastor Wayman Mitchell and Pastor Joe Campbell. Our UK Bible Conference is a key part of fulfilling this great commission, through the discipling of workers and the sending out of couples to the four corners of the world.  The 2013 Potter’s House Bible Conference took place on Monday 4th to Friday 8th November 2013. Ronald Peterkin – We will never forget

Today is the 1 Year Memorial Anniversary of our dearly beloved Pastor Ronald Peterkin, a great servant of God. Let us remember him today and thank God for his life and impact. We would be grateful if you could use this opportunity to remember his precious family he left behind for God to protect, provide and lead them into destiny.
